Wednesday, although off to a chilly start, turned into a bright autumnal day. This was fitting, as we set up a stall at the BCU Careers fair at Millennium Point, where hundreds of ambitious and bright-eyed undergraduates were looking to start their next new career opportunity. Students ranging from freshers, third years, and placement students had the chance to meet and greet over fifty top employers, gleaning top employment advice from them in an informal setting and a unique and friendly format.
Getting to have conversations with all the brilliant students about AM CityGrad, explaining what we do and how we can help, was a pleasure. With over one hundred sign ups for CityGrad profiles, it was a great day for all involved as those savvy lot got to join the most exciting and innovative platform for graduate recruitment. This really enhanced their opportunities to gain crucial work experience alongside their studies as well, with every thing from internships to temp work available too.
